Tree Removal for Lake Wylie, SC

The Lake Wylie community spreads along the coves and inlets on the South Carolina side of the water, where wooded lots run right down to the shoreline. Tall pines, lake wind, and waterfront landscaping make for demanding tree work, and it is work we know well.

On the Water

Waterfront lots take extra care

A tree job on the shoreline is not the same as one in an open backyard. Here is how we handle the things that make Lake Wylie lots different.

01

Protecting the shoreline

We rig and lower every piece so nothing drops into the water, onto a dock, or down the bank.

02

Working the wind exposure

Lakeside pines catch wind off open water, so we thin and deadwood them before storm season.

03

Saving the views

Careful pruning can open a water view without butchering the trees that frame it.

04

Tight, sloped access

Many lots slope steeply to the water, so we plan access carefully and protect the lawn as we go.

Coves, pines, and Carolina storms

The neighborhoods tucked into Lake Wylie's coves are heavily wooded, with loblolly pines and mixed hardwoods standing over the homes and running down to the water. It is a gorgeous setting, and it comes with the same hazard the rest of the area faces: shallow-rooted pines in saturated red clay, only here they are also fully exposed to wind sweeping across the lake.

When storms move through, waterfront trees are often the first to go. We stay ready for storm calls all season, and we would much rather help you take the risk out of a leaning lakeside pine on a calm day than pull it off your roof after the fact. We serve the South Carolina side of Lake Wylie and are fully licensed and insured.
